Federal Self-Surrender Preparation Timeline

Pre-surrender preparation is not a single sprint. It is a sequence of phases, each with its own focus. This page is the high-level map. The specific weekly checklist and worksheets are part of one-on-one engagement.

Months out: foundation

PSR review, designation considerations, defense-team follow-ups, financial mapping, and the first round of family conversations. This is the phase where the biggest leverage lives.

Weeks out: execution

Powers of attorney, account access, school and medical handoffs, communication plan, visiting list research, medical documentation, and a realistic packing plan based on the designated facility's allowances.

Days out: closing

Confirm reporting time, location, and what to bring. Final family conversations. Rest. Do not try to do everything in the last 72 hours.
